Holiday Program – Science Fun Day

Presented by Kristy, Behaviour Educator & Clinician
Come have fun and play while building life skills.
Our school holiday programs provide fun and engaging activities while providing the opportunity to build social and interactional skills, develop relationships, strengthen communication skills and learn to respond to life lessons as they present.

WEEK 1: DAY 2 – Science Fun Day

The Science Fun Day offers kids aged 6-12 years old the opportunity to come together and work in a group to participate in a range of different science experiments.

The day will focus on group work, interacting and supporting each other and having fun while working through some group challenges.

Holiday program content and details

WEEK 1
DAY 1: Super Hero Day – Tuesday 25 June 2024 – Book Here
To support children to develop life skills through play and peer interactions.

Day 2: Science Fun Day – Wednesday 26 June 2024 – Book Here
The Science Fun Day offers kids the opportunity to come together and work in a group to participate in a range of different science experiments. The day will focus on group work, interacting and supporting each other and having fun while working through some group challenges.

Day 3: Games Day – Thursday 27 June 2024 – Book Here
The games day is an opportunity to build social skills through games. Children will work in small groups to design and create their own carnival style games for their peers to play.

WEEK 2
3 days themed: I am Beauty-Full Just for Being Me

The purpose of this program is to provide a fun, engaging and meaningful school holiday program for children that encourages them to recognise and celebrate their strengths and qualities, supporting self-esteem and confidence. The sessions are a mix of arts, crafts, games and group discussions.

Who can attend?

Children aged 6-12 years old who want to connect with others and enjoy playing games and creating their own games.

Can parents participate in the day?

This is a children only event.

Kristy
Behaviour Educator & Clinician, Presenter

Kristy loves supporting people to recognise their strengths and use these as a foundation for building skills through the Body Life Skills Program to engage in life and enjoy what they can bring to others. Kristy has been working as a teacher in primary schools across Australia since 2001, both as a classroom teacher and supporting with students’ wellbeing and behaviours in and out of the classroom. She has led school teams in behaviour change and implemented programs that have absolutely transformed behavioural issues and standards in schools.
